Welcome to the Sanchez Lab of Urban Ecology and Animal Behavior at California State University Dominguez Hills! Our lab studies wildlife in cities with a special interest in understanding how animals respond to urban characteristics such as noise pollution, light pollution, and landscape variables. We primarily focus on avian species using a combination of community science, field work, spatial analyses, and quantitative methods.
